Launched on April 2nd., 2001, El Reportero Ferroviario (ERF) is the first -and single at this time- Spanish-language e-zine in Latin America with the world news of the railway industry. News are divided in the following sections: Argentina, Latin America, North America, Spain, Rest of Europe, Rest of the World, Events, Industry, Associations, People, Labor, Logistics & Intermodal, Pictured News and Letters to the Editor.

Twice a week (Tuesday and Friday) are published the editions with the latest news of any of the above mentioned Sections. Each edition is e-mailed to subscribers under a free subscription base. People can subscribe or unsubscribe in a direct way, just sending a blank e-mail to special e-mail addresses according to the needed request. One hour later all the just-send-news are added to the ERF's website located at www.erf.com.ar .

The latest number of subscribers to the ERF news service (number of subscribers that receives, per their own request, each edition) is showed below. Please note that this figure changes on a day-after-day base due the open free subscription system.

Primary audience - All areas top executives of the following railway sistems located in Latin America, Spain and Portugal:

World railway leading equipment and service suppliers, financial institutions (World Bank, Inter-American Developing Bank, etc.), railway institutions (AAR, ALAF, ALAMYS, UITP, UIC, etc.) and labor unions.
